Perioperative Suite

Clinical   Nurse
(Hours negotiable)


The successful applicant will have:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Demonstrated advanced level of clinical experience within a perioperative environment;
  • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills at an individual and team leave;
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team;
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, mentoring and coaching skills;
  • Knowledge of ACORN and relevant Australian Standards;
  • Evidence of participation in and commitment to quality improvement best practice principles; and
  • Knowledge and experience with Occupation Health and Safety principles, practices and legislation which affect nursing practice, including Equal Opportunity and Health and Disability Services.

Executive Assistant

Full time (76 hours/fortnight)

The Role

We require a highly motivated, organized, efficient and experienced individual to provide high level executive and secretarial support to the Chief Executive Officer/Director of Nursing, the Board of Management and the Management team.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer /Director of Nursing, this position would ideally suit someone with a strong background in executive assistance with previous experience working in a healthcare environment and knowledge of Human Resource Management.

 Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Preparation of Agenda and minute distribution;
  • Monitor compliance with relevant Human Resource legislative requirements;
  • Visiting Medical Practitioner Accreditation Compliance;
  • Monitor compliance with relevant health related legislative requirements.

 Selection Criteria for the position are:

  • Advanced computer skills including word processing, data entry and knowledge of Microsoft Access Data Base applications and Publisher;
  • Previous experience in producing agendas, reports and taking minutes;
  • Demonstrated organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi task, and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
