About the Role 

You will be joining a multidisciplinary team of passionate professionals driven to provide safe, comprehensive care to achieve optimal patient outcomes within the medical ward. Our medical ward cares for both private and public patients.  A minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute hospital setting is essential.

REGISTERED NURSE

Surgical Ward

Due to increased surgical activity, part time and full time positions are available.

About the Role

You will be joining a friendly, dedicated team who are passionate about providing safe, comprehensive care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Our surgical specialities include Orthopaedics, ENT, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Oral/Maxillofacial, Vascular and Pain Management. We have an overnight surgical ward as well as a day surgery unit caring for both adult and paediatric patients.

Successful applicants will be expected to work across a varierty of shifts on a rotating roster. Fixed shifts are not available.

At least twelve (12) months’ post registration experience is essential for further consideration.

Selection Criteria

Essential:

  • Registered as a General Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA
  • Demonstated ability to deliver a high standard of nursing care in an acute surgical care setting utilising evidence based practice
  • Minimum of one year post graduate experience in a surgical setting
  • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Awareness of and participation in quality improvement activities and the accreditation process.

Desirable:

  • Extensive clinical experience
  • Experience caring for paediatric patients
  • Nursing experience in a private acute hospital setting.

Manager Network Administration

Full-time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Network Administration to assume responsibility for the availability, capacity, security, stability and performance of all hospital IT systems and infrastructure.  This is a hands on position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Installing, testing and maintaining the hospitals IT operating systems software and hardware.
  • Resolving software and hardware problems.
  • Liaising with hospital users and external suppliers in the maintenance and support of the hospitals information and information technology environment.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Tertiary or vocational qualifications in Information Technology or a combination of relevant work experience and/or education.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft server operating system Windows 2012 – 2019
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and propose viable solutions/outcomes.
  • SQL database skills
  • Well-developed communication skills including telephone technique to liaise with users to assist and support.

DESIRABLE

  • Previous experience in a health related environment.

Position Summary

South Perth Hospital is seeking an experienced TSSU Technician to provide sterilisation services to the hospital.

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate in Sterilisation Services.
  • Demonstrated sound verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Standard AS/NZ4187.
  • Knowledge of Quality Improvement principles and the Accreditation process.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Computer literacy.
