Perioperative Suite
Clinical Nurse
(Hours negotiable)
The successful applicant will have:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Demonstrated advanced level of clinical experience within a perioperative environment;
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills at an individual and team leave;
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team;
- Demonstrated effective leadership, mentoring and coaching skills;
- Knowledge of ACORN and relevant Australian Standards;
- Evidence of participation in and commitment to quality improvement best practice principles; and

The Role
We require a highly motivated, organized, efficient and experienced individual to provide high level executive and secretarial support to the Chief Executive Officer/Director of Nursing, the Board of Management and the Management team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer /Director of Nursing, this position would ideally suit someone with a strong background in executive assistance with previous experience working in a healthcare environment and knowledge of Human Resource Management.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Preparation of Agenda and minute distribution;
- Monitor compliance with relevant Human Resource legislative requirements;
- Visiting Medical Practitioner Accreditation Compliance;
- Monitor compliance with relevant health related legislative requirements.
Selection Criteria for the position are:
- Advanced computer skills including word processing, data entry and knowledge of Microsoft Access Data Base applications and Publisher;
- Previous experience in producing agendas, reports and taking minutes;
- Demonstrated organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi task, and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines;
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
