Modern Facilities
In late 2010 South Perth Hospital underwent a major redevelopment and now comprises of 87 beds and 5 operating theatres, providing a high standard of acute surgical and medical care and services to the community of Western Australia.
Ongoing Professional and Personal Development
South Perth Hospital promotes and will endeavour to assist any staff member to participate in work related continuing education programs. We acknowledge that education programs develop and enhance knowledge and skills and contribute to best practice in care and service delivery.
An annual mandatory education program is conducted for all clinical and non-clinical staff. All staff participate in regular performance reviews which may identify opportunities for development and training.
Subsidised Staff Meals
South Perth Hospital staff can order delicious subsidised meals from the in-house catering service using the menu for the day. The cost of meals is paid as a deduction from wages.
