Mandatory Education Program

South Perth Hospital provides a comprehensive mandatory education program covering legislated training requirements in addition to subjects identified as being of relevance to staff learning requirements.  Mandatory education days are rostered.

Internal and External Development Programs

There are opportunities through the learning and development program for ongoing professional and personal development.

Internally a diverse educational program is delivered with a dedicated Staff Development Nurse. Additional paid study day leave is available upon application to staff members undertaking approved and relevant external education.

All staff participate in regular performance review through which opportunities for development and training are identified to meet personal and organisational needs.
